It is easy to lose weight, but it is much more difficult to keep the weight from returning, because your body is always trying to maintain its weight.

Bariatric surgery helps to achieve a long-lasting weight loss. After surgery, the normal anatomy of the stomach changes, appetite and hunger decrease and a feeling of fullness will be achieved in smaller portions, as a result – fewer calories will be consumed.

The main purpose of bariatric surgery is to improve a person’s health and the overall quality of their life: improves eating habits, sleeping habits, increases the level of physical activity, increases self-confidence and motivation and feels a sense of „lightness”

To ensure weight maintenance and better health after surgery, DANYS CLINIC nutritionists will give recommendations to follow – healthy eating guidelines. Lots of various foods, flavours and culinary experiences will remain in the patient’s life after the surgery.

Our team of specialists will be there for you all the way at every stage of the process.

  • body mass index is more than 35 kg/m2
  • body mass index is 30-35 kg/m2 and is diagnosed with an obesity-related disease

Bariatric surgery can help prevent, treat or reduce the risk of developing obesity-related diseases such as: type 2 diabetes, sleep apnea, high blood pressure (hypertension), high levels of cholesterol, heart disease, stroke, osteoarthritis, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), etc.
